At byte5, we only count those technologies among our core technologies that convince us with their uniqueness. In order to always offer our customers the best possible solution for their challenges, we are continuously developing our technology stack. Our new addition: Pimcore.

Not only because of its PHP-based and its open source character does it fit perfectly to byte5 and our projects. It is also versatile and allows the integration of third-party providers without any problems.

Pimcore is a platform for Product Information Management (PIM) that enables the modern and efficient management of a wide variety of data. Modules for digital asset management, content management and digital commerce form the basis for this. Pimcore thus provides the basis for the central management of digital data - from images and documents to complex data structures. This enables our customers not only to collect data and information, but also to use it profitably. The data structure and the workflows in Pimcore can be easily adapted to individual requirements, which makes the platform suitable for companies of all sectors and sizes.

Last but not least, the designation of Pimcore as "Customers' Choice" by Gartner Peer Insights and as "Exemplary Vendor in PIM Solutions" by Ventana Research strengthen our decision to classify Pimcore as a promising technology.

The vendors identified as "Customers' Choice" by Garnter Peer Insights exceed the average overall market rating as well as the average user interest and acceptance. With a score of 4.7 out of a possible 5, Pimcore stood out for the satisfaction of its users. 98% would recommend Pimcore to others. In its study, Ventana Research particularly emphasises the advantage of Pimcore due to the cooperation in the open source community. Due to its continuous development, Pimcore is the market leader in the categories of validation, functionality, reliability and user-friendliness.
