Our Year in Review
What a turbulent year! Even though so much happened in the world, we start our review of the year in the microcosm of the byte5 team.
First things first: our team has broken a new mark. With 13 new team members, the byte5 team is bigger, more colourful and more wonderful than ever before. Since many colleagues like to take advantage of the opportunity to work from home or even start a workstation, even after the corona-related home office obligation, opportunities for everyone to get together are even nicer. We were able to meet twice in 2022 in a large group. Of course, the traditional summer party with families and partners is always particularly exciting. With various delicacies and cold drinks, even the 38°C were bearable.

Closely linked to the team growth is our new subsidiary - byte5 vienna GmbH. Based in beautiful Vienna, we hope to be able to grow even further and welcome many new colleagues.
Our working culture has also changed quite a bit in 2022: awards as a Top Company at kununu or as a Great Place to Work show that a lot is already going right at byte5. Nevertheless, there are of course one or two areas that we would like to address in order to better reflect the needs of the team. For this reason, we have had a Change Panel since this year, which is intended to serve as a regular exchange and to initiate change processes.
Our feedback model has also been adapted once again and feedback from employees and the results of various internal team workshops have been incorporated. This should make it even easier to give each other feedback and thus increase satisfaction in the team.
