byte5 Receives
Since December, byte5 can officially call itself an "attractive employer" that demonstrates a special commitment to shaping workplace culture. The basis for the award is an independent and anonymous survey of the entire team as well as an analysis of the measures and programs of the personnel work. The result is something to be proud of!
For byte5, an attractive and innovative workplace culture has long been a very high priority. Exactly four years ago, byte5 CEO and founder Christian Wendler set himself the goal of living and anchoring a culture in the company in which mutual trust is given top priority. In 2018, the New Trust initiative was launched as a result, offering all employees the opportunity to freely choose their work location, working hours and number of vacation days. In addition, we started individual feedback meetings last year. Together with defined criteria, they form the basis on which the team has been determining salaries itself since 2021 with the Pay Panel.
The Great Place to Work® award and the high employee satisfaction rate now confirm that we are on the right track with our measures.
Great Place to Work® is an internationally active research and consulting network that was founded in 2002 and today supports companies in over 100 countries worldwide in creating an attractive and future-oriented workplace culture. The focus is on building trust, enthusiasm and team spirit.
We are proud of our philosophy and workplace culture as part of the New Trust initiative, which has been steadily improved over the past few years. The results of the survey underline this once again. From October 26th to November 08th, 90% of the byte5 employees participated in the survey. We were able to achieve top results in no less than 13 of the 22 categories of the survey (more than 90% top ratings). These include promotion, friendliness, team spirit, commitment, fairness, caring, innovation, integrity, neutrality and community. We are particularly proud of the categories of fairness and familiarity at byte5, where all employees gave a top rating. There was also agreement on the statements "I am treated as a full member here regardless of my position" and "I would like to work here for a long time to come": 100% agreed almost completely or mostly.
Even though we are very pleased with the team's consistently positive ratings across all categories, the certification provides us with valuable ideas for further developing ourselves as an employer.
