We Are Now Two-Time Microsoft Gold Partners

After byte5 was named a Microsoft silver partner exactly one year ago, we are excited to now hold two gold competencies in the field of cloud solutions with which Microsoft awarded byte5 at the beginning of 2020.

The digital transformation is making rapid strides. byte5 is committed to being at the forefront and helping to shape our digital future. A few years ago, all of our data was stored traditionally: in our data centre in Frankfurt. Today, both the byte5 day-to-day business and all customer projects are entirely outsourced to Microsoft Azure. With our in-depth expertise as an ASP.NET specialist, we have inspired many customers to rely on the flexible hosting Azure offers. In this way, we have initiated and executed several cloud transformations over the years.

For these efforts in cloud projects, we were named Microsoft Silver Partner in the competency of Cloud Platform at the beginning of 2019. For a total of two years, we have been increasingly engaged in the cloud transformation of complex customer projects – and in January 2020 we were honoured by Microsoft in the form of two gold partnerships: in the competencies DevOps and Cloud Platform.

In the further course of the year, byte5 will expand the partnership with Microsoft and especially Azure. "We are always in close contact with Microsoft to optimise our clients’ instances and cloud projects," explains Christian Köhler, COO. byte5 plans to double the six-figure hosting volume on Azure by the end of 2020. The three existing silver and gold partnerships will be expanded by additional Microsoft competencies.
